Regulatory Affairs Manager, Rates and Compliance

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Rates and Regulatory Affairs to join our team at Liberty Utilities. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in collaborating with our Transformation and Regulatory Teams to ensure the success of rate case filings across multiple states and commodities.
Key Responsibilities
- Align documentation with regional regulatory strategies to benefit key local functional areas and enhance shareholder value.
- Collaborate with the financial team to ensure timely and accurate updates to models.
- Identify tactics for optimizing the recovery of prudently incurred capital and operating expenses.
- Engage actively in industry associations, contributing to the development of leadership positions for Liberty Utilities.
- Act as a primary witness on rate and regulatory-related filings at local regulatory commissions.
- Provide and collect information and advice to support rate cases, particularly those related to Customer First and dependent projects, across all levels of the organization.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of experience, with a focus on regulatory, accounting, or engineering roles.
- Utility ratemaking experience is a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team.
- Understanding of local state commission regulations and filing requirements, with a proven working relationship with local commission and staff.
- Availability for occasional travel as required.
