Key Responsibilities
- Ensure budgetary goals are met for each project on a quarterly basis.
- Supervise a team of over 20 employees.
- Manage scheduling effectively.
- Foster and maintain client relationships.
- Adhere to contract specifications.
- Ensure quality and quantity of services meet client and company standards.
- Handle payroll processing.
- Order necessary office and cleaning supplies.
- Conduct safety and HR audits.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
- Provide job counseling and enforce employee discipline in collaboration with HR.
- Review all work nightly and submit completion reports.
- Delegate tasks to staff based on job requirements or special client requests.
- Train new hires and oversee ongoing training for existing staff on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety regulations.
- Perform daily quality control inspections.
- Process weekly payroll in compliance with labor laws.
- Submit employee change forms to HR as required.
- Assist in implementing safety programs to ensure adherence to safety policies.
- Understand the principles of effective personnel management and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and company policies.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing teams.
- At least two years of experience in janitorial services within a large commercial or distribution environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish fluently.
