Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure budgetary goals are met for each project on a quarterly basis.
  • Supervise a team of over 20 employees.
  • Manage scheduling effectively.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships.
  • Adhere to contract specifications.
  • Ensure quality and quantity of services meet client and company standards.
  • Handle payroll processing.
  • Order necessary office and cleaning supplies.
  • Conduct safety and HR audits.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Provide job counseling and enforce employee discipline in collaboration with HR.
  • Review all work nightly and submit completion reports.
  • Delegate tasks to staff based on job requirements or special client requests.
  • Train new hires and oversee ongoing training for existing staff on cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety regulations.
  • Perform daily quality control inspections.
  • Process weekly payroll in compliance with labor laws.
  • Submit employee change forms to HR as required.
  • Assist in implementing safety programs to ensure adherence to safety policies.
  • Understand the principles of effective personnel management and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and company policies.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing teams.
  • At least two years of experience in janitorial services within a large commercial or distribution environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish fluently.
