Executive Chef

The Executive Chef is a key member of the senior living community's culinary team, responsible for overseeing the overall dining program. This includes selecting and managing a team of culinary professionals, managing budgets, implementing seasonal menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of residents
- Manage food costs and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources
- Supervise and train culinary staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with the executive director to plan and execute special events and activities
- Monitor and report on food quality, service, and resident satisfaction
- 5+ years of experience in culinary management, preferably in a senior living environment
- Proven track record of managing budgets and controlling food costs
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
