YOUR ROLE

As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and hold the primary responsibility for representing Kuehne+Nagel within the local community, focusing on both internal and external Maritime Logistics customers. The Maritime Customer Service Operations Manager will be tasked with executing and overseeing the Customer Service strategy at a local level while continuously improving customer service standards to achieve excellence. Furthermore, you will lead the Customer Service Operations Team in nurturing customer relationships, onboarding new clients, and promptly addressing any customer inquiries or concerns. The ultimate aim is to drive customer growth, satisfaction, and retention.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership and guidance while monitoring the performance of the local Customer Service team.
  • Oversee the Maritime Logistics Operational Care Center Team's performance.
  • Manage staffing and selection processes, allocate resources, and oversee project assignments as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Operations Manager and Maritime Logistics operations to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maximize profitability by minimizing additional costs and expenses resulting from internal service failures.
  • Ensure financial excellence and development.
  • Actively participate in customer meetings and visits as necessary, in coordination with local sales personnel.
  • Focus on customer retention while seeking organic growth and new business opportunities.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maritime Logistics.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a requirement to report to the office four days a week.
