Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Fortune Brands is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating and nurturing sales opportunities in key markets that need electronic access control utilizing IoT products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Master Lock's global field sales team to generate and nurture sales opportunities in key markets.
  • Bring technical expertise to the sales and customer success processes.
  • Leverage expertise in workplace safety (specifically lockout tagout) and deep knowledge of Master Lock's connected workplace safety solutions to lead product demonstrations, educate prospective customers on technical matters, generate sales proposals, gather technical requirements, and train and onboard new customers.
  • Develop and refine our customer onboarding process and work with Category Management to advance Connected LOTO customer value and experience.
  • Provide onboarding services and training for new customers to ensure they have the knowledge and understanding to successfully set up and operate the Connected LOTO Solution.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years work experience in marketing/sales within industrial safety market.
  • Selling / supporting products to safety or maintenance personnel.
  • Selling / supporting technology-based solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple potential customers concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience providing customer-specific demonstrations, training and onboarding for technology-based solutions.
  • College degree.
