About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Morrell Group / Womack Machine Supply Co. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth in assigned accounts by combining technical expertise with industry insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development: Explore new opportunities with both new and existing customers, utilizing various sales techniques and platforms to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets, including initiating sales calls, conducting discovery processes, and presenting solutions to customers.
  • Customer Management: Resolve technical and prototype issues, address supply chain challenges, and facilitate order administration for smooth production operations.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of hydraulic system components and controls, effective communication with engineers and technical designers, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Mechanical Engineering, or a technically relevant field, with proven experience and success in outside sales, preferably in technical or industrial sectors.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong technical understanding of hydraulic systems and motion control components and solutions, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in an independent work environment.
