As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing mammography radiographic procedures that help detect abnormalities and support patient diagnoses.
Job DescriptionThis role requires the ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Principal Accountabilities:
Perform mammography radiographic exams on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.
Enter and monitor patient data.
Perform quality assurance on mammography equipment.
Identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to department management.
Take emergency calls within the department.
Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include generous PTO, holidays, and personal and spiritual holidays to support work-life balance.
