Improve Patient Care as a Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

About the Role:

  • Perform radiography (x-ray) examinations to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
  • Ensure compliance with all radiation safety procedures, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining and recording vital signs, explaining procedures, and administering contrast when necessary.
  • Position patients for exams, select appropriate imaging techniques, and ensure technical quality of images.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, perform quality assurance on radiology equipment, and identify any accidents or equipment malfunctions.

Requirements:

  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others to perform job functions.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. This estimate is based on industry standards and takes into account the cost of living in the Houston area.
