About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, Texas.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with an estimated salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Perform mammography radiographic exams on patients, ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures and preparing patients for the exam.
    • Enter and monitor patient data, as well as perform quality assurance on mammography equipment.
    • Identify and report any accidents or equipment malfunctions to department management.
    • Assist with initial and renewal applications for ACR accreditation.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
    • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
    • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
    • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others.
