Impactful Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned professional to take on the role of Director of Tax Solutions Strategy for Europe. Reporting directly to the VP of Tax Solutions, you will be responsible for the strategic development and operational execution necessary for expanding TaxBit's Tax Enterprise's Information Reporting Suite throughout Europe. This role involves collaboration with the broader Europe-based go-to-market team and product development in areas such as DAC8, CARF, and CESOP.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in global information reporting within both traditional finance and the digital asset sector. A deep understanding of the digital asset landscape and its technical nuances is essential. You should have a proven history of interpreting tax technical requirements and regulations, formulating strategies for product development, and crafting effective go-to-market strategies to maximize enterprise adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement product strategies that position TaxBit as a leader in digital asset information reporting in response to new regulatory requirements such as DAC8, CARF, and CESOP.
  • Collaborate closely with our sales and business development teams to execute the go-to-market strategy, creating enablement materials and providing necessary training on tax subject matter expertise for new regulations.
  • Represent TaxBit at industry events focused on digital assets and information reporting, both in-person and virtually across Europe.
  • Analyze opportunities based on realistic assessments and consistently meet or exceed forecasts.
  • Engage directly with prospects, particularly focusing on accelerating or expanding significant and strategic deals for TaxBit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, emphasizing the growth of partner business and enhancing lead generation.
  • Work with Product and Subject Matter Expert teams in the U.S. and Europe to interpret tax information reporting regulations and support product development for European-related offerings within Information Reporting.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in the digital assets sector.
  • 8-10 years of experience in public accounting or industry, with expertise in IRS rules, tax information reporting regulations, and guidance related to various types of tax information reporting and withholding.
  • Familiarity with processes to meet IRS tax reporting requirements in both the U.S. and Europe.
  • Degree in accounting or law.
  • CPA or JD certification.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of the global regulatory landscape concerning digital assets, financial services, and regulatory risk.
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance and a history of achieving and surpassing business objectives.
  • Ability to comprehend complex technical requirements and assist in developing solutions across multiple products.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and white-boarding skills, especially for in-person engagements with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to lead intricate negotiations involving customized commercial agreements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing multiple priorities and maintaining productivity under time constraints.
  • Genuine interest in financial compliance technology and a comprehensive understanding of the field.
  • Some domain expertise in tax, compliance, and/or accounting is highly desirable but not mandatory.
