POSITION: Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are currently seeking an Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater Group. This role involves managing projects, developing client relationships, and designing water and wastewater systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance into management roles, leading technical teams and coordinating marketing initiatives.

POSITION DUTIES:
  • Independently execute assignments with guidance on expected outcomes. Oversee, coordinate, and review the work of other engineering professionals.
  • Assist in the planning, development, coordination, and successful execution of projects.
  • Prepare and monitor project timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Draft engineering project proposals in collaboration with department managers and business development teams.
  • Make independent decisions and take ownership of engineering solutions.
  • Conduct process design for water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects.
  • Lead both single and multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Foster the development of project team members.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project team members.
  • Enhance client relationships and contribute to business growth.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with a preference for environmental emphasis.
  • Registered professional engineering license, preferably in Texas, or the ability to obtain one within one year.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing water and/or wastewater projects, including treatment facilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
