Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting mail by reviewing tray numbers and directing them to the appropriate bins.
- Ensuring that all envelopes are properly sealed by fanning them out.
- Conducting quality assurance checks on envelopes to maintain high standards.
- Verifying that addresses are clear and that ink is applied correctly.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Enjoyment of hands-on work is preferred.
- Openness to learning various mail sorting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret tray numbers.
- Capability to read smaller print effectively.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced production setting.
- Team-oriented mindset is crucial.
- Ability to follow and provide instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
Work Schedule:
The role involves 12-hour shifts, with options available for Sunday to Tuesday and every other Saturday from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am. Alternatively, shifts are available from Wednesday to Friday and every other Saturday during the same hours.
