Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider II to join our team at Parkland Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and training to our staff and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Patient Care: Deliver exceptional patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals, in a designated area.
  • Lead Clinical Practice: Act as a resource and role model for clinical practice, training, and evaluation, promoting best practices and excellence in patient care.
  • Manage Advanced Practice Provider Activities: Assist in managing advanced practice provider activities, including training, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Master's degree in nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider performing similar job duties or 5+ years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider.
  • Certification/Registration/Licensure: Current healthcare provider BLS certification and licensing and registration as required by the Medical Staff Bylaws.
  • Skills/Abilities: Demonstrate leadership ability, effective communication, and patient-centered behaviors, with a commitment to staying informed on developments in the field and participating in education activities.
