Overview

Texas Oncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider II to support our Surgical Breast Oncology clinic Suite 160. This full-time position is located at 3410 Worth St. Dallas, TX.

This role will provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care, in collaboration with practice physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and management in the outpatient/inpatient/surgical setting
  • Document visits, patient and family education, order and review diagnostic studies, prescribe medications, management of symptoms, counseling and support
  • Collaborate with and referrals to other health care providers
  • Provision of education to staff, students, and the community
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Master's degree from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and registration with the State Board of Nursing
  • Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification
