Job Summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and education, in designated specialty areas.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and develop effective care plans.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate APP students and contribute to the education of residents, interns, and other healthcare trainees.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in your practice field through ongoing education and professional development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Active certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a recognized certifying organization.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in a similar role.
