About the Role:

We are thrilled to expand our team of high school educators who are dedicated to continuously enhancing curriculum and instruction through collaboration. As a teacher with Talent Vision, you will be expected to:

  • Exhibit expertise in Mathematics content knowledge, particularly in High School Algebra 2/Pre-Calculus.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Mathematics interventions targeting specific math skills.
  • Be proficient with online applications to enrich learning experiences.
  • Design and implement curriculum and assessments that gauge progress towards academic standards.
  • Leverage data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
  • Be open to weekly coaching and committed to developing and strengthening your practice.
  • Provide consistent rewards and consequences for student behavior.
  • Employ various techniques to enhance student engagement and assess understanding.
  • Be accountable for students' mastery of academic standards.
  • Be familiar with Google Classroom and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high school with an underserved population.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • A valid NJ Teacher Certification completed or in progress.
