Casa Real Center in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team on a temporary basis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services in our nursing center.
Key Responsibilities- Direct, plan, and coordinate service activities of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering patient care.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Home Administrator to develop, allocate, and control the budget for the Department of Nursing Services.
- Complete daily rounds on the units to observe patients and determine if nursing needs are being met.
- Review nursing progress notes to ensure they are informative and descriptive of the nursing care provided and reflect the customer's response to the plan of care.
- Interpret nursing center policies and regulations to all nursing personnel and ensure compliance, as well as analyze and evaluate nursing and related services rendered to improve quality of customer care and better utilize staff time and abilities.
- Ensure the provision of in-service training programs for nursing personnel.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university with a current registered nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
- A minimum of five years full-time or equivalent clinical experience with at least two years' experience in nursing supervision in the long-term care setting is required.
- A competitive salary range of $120K - $125K per year.
