Behavioral Health Specialist

CGRC's IBHS Program is an in-home service that assists children and adolescents in addressing behavioral health needs by using strength-based goals and integrating community services. Our team of experts provides a comprehensive approach to behavioral health, working with children, families, and community members to create a supportive environment that promotes positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with parents and treatment team members to develop effective treatment plans and collect data on behavior interventions.
  • Design and implement behavior plans and ongoing data collection to assess behavior change and modify treatment as needed.
  • Record case progress notes to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress.
  • Conduct intake appointments with families and collect relevant information for the assessment process.
  • Conduct observations of children across settings and complete assessments with teachers, parents, and children to aid in clarifying a child's diagnosis.
  • Develop clinical documents that summarize observational data collected and support continuing treatment of identified behaviors.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to children and adolescents in the home, school, and community setting.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisory team.
