Medical Systems Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Systems Engineer III to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

The Medical Systems Engineer III will be responsible for evaluating, repairing, and maintaining medical devices used in patient care. This includes performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of medical equipment, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate, repair, and maintain medical devices used in patient care
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Manage projects and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and staff
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Technical School/2 Years College /Associate's Degree in a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CBET, CRES, CLES, or CHTM)
  • Advanced modality HTM expertise, including clinical laboratory, medical imaging, radiation/oncology, real-time location systems, alarm management middleware, or high-end biomedical devices
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products and experience with CMMS products
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
