Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CASE MANAGER II-III CO-OCURRENT PSYCHIATRIC AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS (COPSD) professional to join our team at Texas Panhandle Centers.

The selected candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support and advocacy to individuals navigating the criminal justice system and mental health services. The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills to build rapport quickly and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

About the Role
  • Provide ongoing support and advocacy to clients navigating the criminal justice system and mental health services.
  • Coordinate release plans with in-jail staff to promote seamless service delivery.
  • Develop treatment approaches that best fit the needs of the client through multidisciplinary team meetings and case staffing.
  • Identify candidates at initial county arraignments and assist with the C.C.P. 16.22 process for early initiation of COPSD treatment and advocacy with diversion courts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field for QMHP credentialing.
  • One year of experience in behavioral health case management for Case Manager II, two years for Case Manager III.
  • Graduate work in a related field may be substituted for up to one year of experience.
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals who are justice-involved.
  • Previous experience in mental health crisis de-escalation and intervention.
  • Understanding of person-centered and trauma-informed care principles.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $43,305.60 annually for a Case Manager II to $46,009.60 annually for a Case Manager III, depending on qualifications and experience.
