Job Title: Materials Manager

At RX2 Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Materials Manager to lead our purchasing, planning, and operations teams. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing production planning, purchasing, and scheduling systems to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer shipment requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all facets of Purchasing, Planning, Operations Support, and Stockroom operations.
  • Develop and execute production planning, purchasing, and scheduling systems to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer shipment requirements.
  • Analyze inventory levels and trends to devise strategies for inventory optimization, ensuring a harmonious balance between supply and demand.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Supervise the processing and approval of accounts payable invoices.
  • Contribute to Company-wide projects by collaborating within cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and timelines.
  • Champion teamwork, initiatives, and processes fostering employee engagement and operational effectiveness.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and professional excellence through mentorship and training of direct reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a dynamic production environment.
  • Proficiency in implementing and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, including successful implementation of inventory reduction strategies.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of material transactions such as kitting, receiving, and cycle counts.
  • Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes, particularly involving machining operations.
  • Understanding of accounts payable invoice processing and approval.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for creating documentation, spreadsheets, and databases supporting Manufacturing operations.
