Position Overview

Resource Corporation of America is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Management Specialist to enhance our exceptional team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to our healthcare partners by managing Third Party Liability Claims related to Motor Vehicle Accidents.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor of Liens and the Director of Operations, the Claims Management Specialist will be responsible for:
  • Thoroughly investigating and confirming all pertinent details associated with a Motor Vehicle Accident, ensuring that the patient received necessary medical care within the mandated 72-hour period.
  • Initiating and executing the lien process, which involves drafting the Notice of Claim of Lien, obtaining notarization, and filing the lien at the appropriate county courthouse, while ensuring the docket number is recorded.
  • Informing relevant insurance companies and/or legal representatives about any liens filed or released, including distributing copies of the lien filing to all interested parties.
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with insurance providers, attorneys, adjusters, patients, and other stakeholders to facilitate maximum reimbursement.
  • Verifying that any reimbursement payments received align with the outstanding balances.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Prior experience in an office setting, ideally within a healthcare or legal environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, encompassing both in-person interactions and telephone communication.
  • A commitment to personal and professional growth, as well as to the advancement of the organization.
  • Reliability and dependability are essential.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing processes as needed.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
