Position Summary: We are in search of a Non-Subscriber Claims Specialist to manage a variety of claims within our organization.
Benefits Offered:
- Attractive salary range between $80,000 and $95,000
- Flexible work arrangement with 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, promoting a healthy work-life balance
- Comprehensive benefits package including 401k, paid time off, holidays, and various insurance options
Qualifications Required:
- Valid adjuster license (All Lines or Property and Casualty)
- At least 5 years of experience in adjusting Workers Compensation or Texas Non-Subscriber claims
- Fluency in Spanish is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required
- Experience in the grocery, restaurant, or hospitality sectors is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to draft professional business correspondence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting investigations and adjustments of employee injury claims, determining benefits, managing wage replacement, and overseeing medical management for Texas Non-Subscriber claims
- Providing clear explanations of benefits to team members
- Overseeing treatment plans, including the selection of specialists
- Ensuring appropriate reserves are set based on the severity of known medical treatments and future care plans
- Processing medical bills through an auditing procedure, coding, and approving payments
- Responsible for drafting Benefit Determination Letters, Non-Compliance Warning Letters, and Denial of Benefits Letters
