About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Claims Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our claims branch offices by ensuring essential administrative functions run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to claims branch offices, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Interact with customers and medical providers by phone or in person to resolve claims-related issues.
  • Assist with claims processing, including reviewing and verifying documentation, and communicating with customers and providers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including claims files and databases.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the claims process.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of one year of administrative or clerical support experience.
  • OR one year post-secondary education.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency using office equipment, including computers, printers, and scanners.
  • Proven organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly switch duties.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Customer service and follow-up skills, with ability to resolve customer complaints and issues.

Work Environment:

Candidates must reside within a 15-mile radius of our office located at 16055 Space Center Boulevard, Suite 650, Houston, TX 77062.

Work Schedule:

100% in-office, Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $18.00 to $21.00/hour.
