Quality Assurance Architect

Contract Position

Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Architect to spearhead our QA initiatives and ensure the highest standards of quality in our development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and oversee the QA strategy, methodologies, and execution across various development initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor the QA leadership team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert guidance in Test Automation and Quality Assurance, ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Accountable for the success of test automation projects, mentoring QA automation developers and managers.
  • Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance assessment of QA leads.
  • Deliver technical leadership in Quality Assurance and Testing domains.
  • Ensure compliance with QA principles, guidelines, and best practices among development teams.
  • Drive continuous enhancements in QA processes, including tools, techniques, and automation.
  • Establish and uphold quality standards, enforcing technical and testing benchmarks.
  • Monitor QA activities, analyze test results, and conduct root cause analysis to identify improvement areas.
  • Compile and present testing metrics and project activities to key stakeholders.
  • Maximize the benefits of available tools for QA efforts.
  • Manage the ongoing training and professional development of QA personnel through various learning opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all testing and quality assurance inquiries.
  • Direct the development of QA strategies, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Enhance the QA team's capabilities in automated and agile testing practices.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking sector.
  • Proficient in Selenium, C#, and API testing.
  • Demonstrated QA management experience across diverse projects, both offshore and in-house.
  • Strong technical expertise in both functional and non-functional testing, including manual and automated approaches.
  • Experience in shaping and implementing QA processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Advocate for Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, and industry Best Practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Risk Management and Risk-Based Testing methodologies.
  • Experience in managing testing departments or functions.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proactive, quick-thinking, and assertive in approach.
  • Skilled in motivating team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Self-driven, mature, and professional demeanor.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
