Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Team Lead to join our PWM Client Onboarding Technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, developing and executing a detailed test strategy, and ensuring that our applications and products are comprehensively quality tested.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of QA engineers in developing and executing a detailed test strategy
  • Develop and maintain tight QA processes centered around JIRA for all reporting and tracking of defects and test case execution
  • Work closely with developers, project managers, and users throughout the SDLC to design and write test cases based on requirements
  • Guide the QA team engineers in executing, automating, and troubleshooting test cases
  • Ensure that our applications and products are comprehensively quality tested and work as intended
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience in reviewing and understanding business requirements, BRDs, FSDs, wireframes, etc.
  • 7+ years of strong hands-on experience with various QA automation tools, including Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, JMeter, FitNesse, JUnit, LoadRunner, and SONAR
  • 5+ years of hands-on coding experience with one or more of the following scripting/programming languages: Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • 5+ years of work experience in testing server-side Java applications that use a microservice architecture
  • 3+ years of work experience in leading QA teams across different applications
  • Impeccable attention to functional and UI details, with a keen focus towards verifying and validating new functionality against an existing set of given design specs and requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of how to develop and maintain tight QA processes centered around JIRA for all reporting and tracking of defects and test case execution
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mobile testing experiences with SauceLabs, Perfecto, or similar tools
  • Prior experience working in financial institutions
