Job Title: Director of Fund Development

OneWest Corp is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Fund Development to lead our fundraising efforts and drive growth in support of our mission.

About the Role:

The Director of Fund Development will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of our development department, including major gifts, annual and capital campaigns, grants, reporting, donor recognition, direct mail campaigns, email communications, fundraising and cultivation events, and board engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual and long-term goals
  • Lead a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and community leaders
  • Manage and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and appeals
  • Develop and maintain a donor database and track fundraising metrics
  • Collaborate with the President and CEO to develop and implement strategic plans
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising and development, preferably in a senior role
  • Proven track record of achieving fundraising goals and targets
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with donor database software and fundraising technology
