Position Overview:

At CHRIS 180, we are committed to delivering round-the-clock support for unaccompanied minors under the supervision of the Office of Refugee Resettlement.

We are in search of empathetic individuals who can contribute to the stabilization, behavioral assistance, and holistic case management of these at-risk youth.

As part of our Migrant Wellness Program, your duties will include direct care, oversight, and ensuring the safety of the children, while fostering relationships and providing authentic support with compassion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a positive role model and enhance self-esteem among youth
  • Address the wellbeing, educational, and mental health requirements of the youth
  • Collaborate with various programs within our organization to deliver optimal care services
  • Maintain a secure and nurturing atmosphere for the youth in our care
  • Accurately document all incidents and appointments
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • High school diploma is mandatory; higher education is advantageous
  • At least 1 year of experience in child welfare is essential
  • Familiarity with immigrant and refugee communities is preferred
  • Candidates must be at least 25 years old
  • A valid driver's license is necessary
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour with a $1,500.00 New Hire Sign-On Bonus


Work Schedule:
On-site

The working hours will vary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with a maximum of 40 hours per week. This position is funded by a grant and requires on-site presence.
