Clinical Child Psychologist

Emory University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Child Psychologist to join our team as an Assessment Specialist. This is a full-time position that will involve working closely with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and other behavioral and mental health professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for patients referred by outpatient behavioral mental health providers to assist with differential diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Work with patients aged 4-21 years old with diagnostic referral questions associated with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
- Consult with school professionals as needed to provide culturally-sensitive and inclusive approaches to assessment.
- Participate in the training of psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows, as well as other behavioral mental health trainees.
Requirements:
- PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA accredited program.
- Completed an APA accredited child internship.
- Expertise in treating children and adolescents using evidence-based treatment approaches.
- Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia prior to employment.
- Board certification within hospital timelines.
