This position is designated for IBP Solutions US, LLC operating as Masonite Architectural, an independent entity.

Position Overview:

The role entails the preparation of financial reports for both internal stakeholders and external parties, alongside the formulation of analytical insights. The candidate will investigate and document accounting and financial reporting standards utilizing available resources, advising on the accounting treatment for intricate transactions based on thorough research. A portion of the role will involve general corporate accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation of financial statements for internal and external purposes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the primary user of Wdesk, the software utilized for compiling and filing financial reports.
  • Gather, analyze, and organize supporting documentation and schedules for external financial reporting in a systematic manner that aids both internal and external audit processes.
  • Research and monitor relevant GAAP to ensure timely compliance with evolving accounting standards, providing clear interpretations and documenting issues comprehensively.
  • Play a pivotal role in supporting the annual audit and quarterly review processes with external auditors.
  • Assist in maintaining adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley internal control standards and manage the quarterly certification process.
  • Conduct high-level analytical evaluations of account fluctuations and document findings.
  • Continuously evaluate, suggest, and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Support the execution of special initiatives, including ERP system implementations, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Active CPA license is mandatory.
  • Preferred advanced certifications or degrees: MBA, MAcc, etc.
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting or a related field.
  • Experience with Big 4 audit firms is advantageous.
  • Experience in SEC/public company financial reporting is essential.

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities requiring collaboration across various organizational levels.
  • Self-motivated, organized, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to engage in diverse projects as they arise.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management and/or Hyperion Essbase is a plus.
  • Experience with Wdesk/Workiva is beneficial.
