Executive Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Chef De Cuisine to lead our kitchen operations at One Haus in San Francisco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for menu development, team management, and financial management.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, compliance with sanitation standards, and alignment with the restaurant's vision. They will collaborate with the Research & Development Chef, General Manager, and Sous Chefs to achieve culinary and operational excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Menus: Collaborate with the R&D Chef on menu creation and updates, document and standardize recipes, and ensure availability of allergy modifications.
- Lead Team Performance: Hire, train, and review BOH team members in coordination with Sous Chefs, conduct daily team meetings, and oversee training programs.
- Oversee Financial Management: Approve purchase orders, maintain vendor relationships, monitor food costs, conduct weekly inventory checks, and reduce waste.
- Ensure Health & Safety Standards: Ensure kitchen sanitation and personal hygiene standards, oversee daily logs, and coordinate with cleaning staff.
- Manage Labor & Payroll Practices: Create and manage BOH schedules within labor budgets, approve time-off requests, and monitor timekeeping practices.
