Executive Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Hotel Zelos in San Francisco, California. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage kitchen operations, including menu development, inventory control, and labor management.
- Supervise kitchen staff, provide coaching and training, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy work environment that meets or exceeds federal, state, and corporate standards.
- Collaborate with the Area Director of Food & Beverage to develop and implement menus, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Proven track record of leadership, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
