Electrical Engineering Trainee

Job Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Engineering Trainee, you will engage in problem analysis, design, installation, and initiation phases for our projects.

Our interns have the chance to apply their technical education in an industrial setting or with automated manufacturing control systems.

This includes working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), analog and digital motor controllers, and discrete control hardware. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of electrical engineering practices essential for supporting high-speed automated manufacturing processes. Opportunities are available in research offices, manufacturing facilities, and various business divisions.

Key Accountabilities:
- Generate detailed designs and development tasks.
- Enhance knowledge and skills related to engineering specifics.
- Execute job responsibilities safely.
- Maintain security and documentation.
- Assist in formulating solutions and alternatives for assigned challenges.
- Foster an environment of respect among all team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
- Familiarity with basic statistics and computer usage is advantageous.

Qualifications:

- GPA: 3.0 cumulative or higher
- Completion of at least 1.5 years of college coursework
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis
- Co-op/intern positions are not eligible for sponsorship; the successful candidate must be eligible for employment in the United States without KC's sponsorship now or in the future
- Previous Co-op/Intern experience is a plus
