**Job Summary**

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Body Repair and Paint Technician to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and painting trucks to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify errors or defects
  • Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment
  • Perform all entry-level tasks and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Work shift work/weekends as required

Requirements:

  • Vocational or technical certification in a related field preferred
  • Two (2) years or more experience in truck and trailer paint and body work
  • Ability to understand and communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply knowledge of computers
  • Some experience in transportation maintenance preferred

What We Offer:

  • Average weekly pay: $980
  • Hourly pay: $24.50 per hour
  • Second shift schedule: 2:00 pm – 11:30 pm
