Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mobile crusher equipment in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic and Repair Work: Perform diagnostic and repair work on mobile crusher equipment, using established guidelines and flat rates.
  • Safety and Compliance: Model safe work habits and adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Customer Service: Promote goodwill with customers and exhibit excellent customer relations behaviors.
  • Travel and Overnight Stays: Make overnight stays on or near job sites when required.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required paperwork efficiently and timely.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of continuous experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Physical Demands: Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 100 pounds without assistance, and ability to work in extreme heat or cold and wet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions.
