  • Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and other stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to patient confidentiality guidelines.
  • Handle emergency situations in a calm and timely manner, ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Continuously observe and maintain the assigned area for potential safety or security issues, overall neatness, and cleanliness, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Assist with training new employees and volunteers for departmental job duties, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between patient families, clinical areas, and physicians to provide efficient and accurate information flow.
  • Provide support and assistance to various departments as needed, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • One (1) year of customer service-related work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer experience, with proficiency in software applications relevant to the role.
  • Familiarity with Lancaster County and its communities.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and move around the hospital campus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavy lifting required.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including patient care areas, administrative offices, and public spaces.
