About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Beacon Communities. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing various skilled maintenance functions, including minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct regular inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties.
  • Respond to Maintenance Requests: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Conduct Preventative Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and reduce the need for costly repairs.
  • Assist with Special Projects: Assist with special projects, such as renovations and repairs, as needed.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3-5 Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance or related field is required.
  • Trade School or College Degree: A trade school or college degree in a related field is preferred.
  • CAMT Certification: CAMT certification is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
