Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions promptly.
  • Perform inspections to detect potential issues and suggest preventive actions.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to plan and carry out maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Maintain precise records of maintenance and repair work.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and equipment supplies.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to reduce downtime.
  • Offer training and support to junior technicians or maintenance personnel.
  • Engage with external suppliers for specialized repairs or component replacements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician, ideally in an industrial or recycling environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is advantageous.
  • Physical endurance and dexterity to perform tasks in an industrial setting.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
Work Environment:
This role involves working in an industrial facility, which may expose the technician to various environmental factors such as noise, dust, and fluctuating temperatures.
