Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at SilencerCo. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment for our business.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities to effectively build relationships with suppliers and ensure consistent and reliable supply flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchasing requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure all vendors meet high standards for quality and manufacturing requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers to discuss new projects, pricing, and evaluate service and quality
  • Participate in cost reduction projects and conduct monthly cost reduction and value analysis
  • Review quotes and recommend sourcing decisions to ensure supplier selection aligns with cost reductions, quality improvements, and delivery requirements
  • Review purchase order acknowledgments and update pricing and delivery dates in our ERP system
  • Work with the planning team to ensure items are purchased and delivered on time to meet production needs
  • Conduct purchasing activities aligned with our supply chain philosophy and strategy
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with team members, clients, and suppliers
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, purchasing raw materials
  • Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and maximize deals for the company
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively
  • Math skills to ensure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company
  • Basic understanding of SilencerCo product line
