Procurement Specialist

At Stadler US, we are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to lead the procurement process for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial purchasing and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, including pricing, delivery terms, and contracts.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve problems and provide procurement consultation.
- Participate in pooling negotiations and coordinate activities with other teams.
- Support the Head of Procurement and other Buyers.
- Actively manage suppliers and conduct supplier reviews.
- Purchase components within assigned commodity groups.
- Support order management and/or NCR team with claims and collection of liquidated damages.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in industrial or manufacturing purchasing, with a preference for rail experience.
- Fluent English is required, with German being a plus.
- Resilient and independent personality.
- Strong organizational skills and efficient working methods.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, preferably Infor COM.
