Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead SoC/ASIC Digital Design Engineer with expertise in Design for Test (DFT) to lead our DFT architecture and silicon debug efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead DFT efforts in projects from architecture to silicon debug, ensuring high-quality design and test solutions.
  • Develop and implement DFT insertion flows, including scan chain insertion, compression scan technologies, memory built-in self-test (MBIST), and automatic test pattern generation (ATPG).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DFT solutions with other design and verification flows.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize DFT requirements, ensuring timely and effective delivery of high-quality designs.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in DFT tools and methodologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Contribute to the development of DFT best practices and standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on DFT-related design decisions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address DFT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project schedules.

Requirements

  • 15-20 years of professional experience in SoC/ASIC Digital Design with a focus on Design for Test (DFT).
  • Proven track record of leading DFT efforts in projects from architecture to silicon debug.
  • Intimate knowledge of DFT insertion flows, including scan chain insertion, compression scan technologies, MBIST, and ATPG.
  • Experience with DFT tools and methodologies, including synthesis, verification, and debugging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of JTAG 1149.1/6, IEEE1500, and IEEE1687.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and contribute to the development of DFT best practices and standards.
