Position Overview:


As a Geriatric Rehabilitation Specialist at BoldAge PACE, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the mobility and overall physical well-being of our participants. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating and assessing the physical capabilities of older adults, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess participants' mobility levels and physical conditions.

- Develop and implement individualized and group exercise programs aimed at maintaining functional abilities.

- Recommend therapeutic exercises, gait training, and ambulation support as needed.

- Oversee the execution of a comprehensive physical therapy program tailored to the needs of our participants.

Qualifications:


- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (if obtained prior to the year 2000) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy (if obtained after the year 2000).

- At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail populations, or the willingness to undergo specialized training.

- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the required state.

- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.

Knowledge and Skills:


- Proficiency in clinical practices related to geriatric care.

- Familiarity with appropriate therapy equipment and technology tailored for senior populations.

- Understanding of proper body mechanics to prevent work-related injuries and the ability to educate others.

- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic communication.


Work Schedule:


Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
