Job Summary:

As a Teller and Customer Support Associate at TD Bank, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You will educate customers on TD's products and services, refer them to partners for specialized solutions, and ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute TD's Brand promise to customers by consistently delivering a legendary customer experience in the store

Perform customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments, efficiently

Process cash transactions, such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawers, and night deposits, with a high level of accuracy

Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary

Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately

Understand customer preferences for banking and educate them on self-service and digital options that meet their needs

Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations, offering financial and digital solutions, and referring customers to appropriate partners for solutions

Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution, escalating more difficult issues to management

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

6 months of work-related experience preferred, or equivalent demonstrated through volunteering, education, or military experience

Ability to work during operating hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as scheduled

Demonstrated customer service skills preferred

Strong organizational skills

Detail-oriented

Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment

Excellent communication skills with the ability to be concise, clear, and consistent

Physical Requirements:

Perform sedentary work continuously

Stand frequently

Walk occasionally

Move safely in confined spaces occasionally

Lift/carry under 25 lbs. occasionally
