Precision Surface Grinding Technician

Volt is seeking a skilled Precision Surface Grinding Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for grinding top and bottom, square and grind all parts to size, and maintaining good surface finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grind top and bottom, square and grind all parts to size
  • Set up and operate Okamoto water grinders, including 16x32, 12x24, and 20x40 models
  • Hold tight tolerances and inspect and document all work
  • Efficiently run two machines and understand and follow schedules
  • Record time on projects and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of grinding experience
  • CNC ID/OD experience a plus
  • CNC Grinding experience a plus
  • General machine shop experience

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rate: $25-$38 per hour
  • Shift Schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm M-F, OT as needed
  • Benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
