Job Summary:

Volt is seeking a skilled Precision Surface Grinding Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for grinding top and bottom, square and grind all parts to size using Okamoto water grinders. You will also set up and operate the grinders, inspect and document all work, and maintain good surface finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grind top and bottom, square and grind all parts to size
  • Set up and operate Okamoto water grinders (16x32, 12x24, 20x40)
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances
  • Inspect and document all work
  • Efficiently run two machines
  • Understand and follow schedule
  • Record time on projects
  • Maintain good surface finishes
  • Clean and maintain grinder and surrounding area

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years grinding experience
  • CNC ID/OD experience a plus
  • CNC Grinding a plus
  • General machine shop experience
