Position Overview: Senior EHR Operations Trainer

We are seeking an Advanced Project Leader to oversee training initiatives focused on the development, delivery, and evaluation of training materials, with an emphasis on distance learning, adult education, and eLearning strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee training for clinical applications including EMR, PM, LIS, and PACs systems.
  • Keep abreast of RHC's operational procedures and technological innovations.
  • Coordinate projects to meet complex information requirements.
  • Facilitate the exchange of information among healthcare organizations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for application systems.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to create and implement training programs.
  • Ensure training aligns with organizational policies and protocols.
  • Modify training initiatives in response to regulatory and policy changes.
  • Identify and rectify common issues through targeted training.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and technological advancements.
  • Report training results to management.
  • Implement software updates and new functionalities.
  • Create training manuals and educational resources.
  • Conduct training sessions and assess their effectiveness.
  • Propose enhancements to training frameworks and programs.
  • Lead the rollout of training initiatives.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from participants.
  • Participate in meetings with leadership to review performance metrics.
  • Maintain expertise in clinical workflows.
  • Provide training and support to preceptors.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage travel logistics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks and MedTrainer LMS.
  • Understanding of business office standards and practices.
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
