  • Developing, overseeing, and executing purchase orders weekly to ensure timely product delivery to all distribution centers.
  • Communicating stock shortages or other product-related updates within their designated category.
  • Monitoring inventory levels to maintain optimal supply at each distribution center.
  • Collaborating with Category and Buying Managers to forecast and plan for the needs of our store locations.
  • Ensuring consistent fill rates to meet customer demand across our stores.
  • Gathering and responding to feedback from customers and team members regarding the product categories managed.
  • Partnering with other departments to address any discrepancies in shipments or costs.
Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing within grocery retail, wholesale, or distribution.
  • Strong negotiation skills and previous experience in vendor management.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
