About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Advanced Analytics Specialist to join our Procurement Analytics team within the Enterprise Transformation Office.

This position will provide analytical support and insights to Enterprise Procurement to help generate value from Liberty Mutual's supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical abilities and be able to work collaboratively & independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and recommendations to influence Enterprise Procurement strategies and goals.
  • Present analysis in an understandable and concise manner to effectively influence others.
  • Develop and produce dashboards/reports to support assessment and monitoring of operational and expense/spend metrics.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving the current reporting infrastructure.
  • Identify issues within existing tools, processes, data sources and voice suggestions to the team to improve accuracy, decrease latency, and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Stay informed about procurement category market trends, identifying drivers for expense saving opportunities.
  • Maintain close working relationships with data providers and partners.
  • Query and validate large and complex datasets to deliver analytically sound insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 2-4 years of experience, or master's degree with no professional experience, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, Emblem).
  • Knowledgeable in data query languages and tools (e.g. SQL, DAX, Snowflake, Python).
  • Good planning, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data sources, tools, statistical principles, methodologies, and techniques.
