Job Overview

Carolina Precision Technologies, LLC is a leading manufacturer of precision parts for the medical and aerospace industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer and Setup Specialist to join our team in Putnam, CT.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and program CNC lathes for efficient production
  • Operate machines during non-programming and setup times
  • Inspect parts according to prints and in-process documentation
  • Maintain a safe work environment by clearing chips and ensuring proper machine operation
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment
  • CAM software experience (Part Maker/Mastercam) is a plus
  • Proficiency in micrometers, gauging, and comparator usage
  • Familiarity with Eurotech machines and Fanuc controls is advantageous
  • Skilled blue print reading
  • Minimum requirements: high school graduate or equivalent, general math proficiency, and ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary based on experience, including a full range of health benefits, paid time off, and eligibility for a 401(k) plan after three months of service. The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
