We are seeking a highly motivated Youth Program Support Specialist to join our team

Job Summary

This role will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to children in our facility, while ensuring a safe and clean environment for all members.

Responsibilities:
  1. Care and Supervision: Provide daily care and supervision to children in our facility, including serving snacks and lunch, comforting injured or upset children, and engaging in play activities.
  2. Toys and Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of toys and equipment, and report any issues to the appropriate staff member.
  3. Communication: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration, maintaining confidentiality of information as needed.
  4. Safety and Security: Report any evidence of child abuse, maintain a safe environment, and respond to critical situations promptly.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: At least 16 years of age, with experience working with children and an understanding of child development.
  2. Certifications: CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.
  3. Skills: Ability to build relationships, create a positive atmosphere, and perform tasks assigned by supervisors.
Working Conditions:

This position requires standing, sitting, and walking for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and having visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations.

Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
